The MEDAC/System 3 is an integrated instrumentation and software system that allows you to determine which autonomic nervous system parameters or muscle sites are most appropriate for biofeedback, assisted relaxation training, or muscle re-education. The MEDAC System/3 is available for rehabilitation and pain management applications where four channels of surface EMG are needed.

Modalities for the MEDAC System/3 include heart rate, peripheral bloodflow (blood volume pulse height), surface EMG, skin temperature, skin conductance and respiration. MEDAC programs collect data automatically and produce session reports for review or print.

Clinical Instruments and Software for Biofeedback|

M40 EMG

This instrument features a dry sensor for muscle scanning, highly flexible feedback, and real digital integration (averaging) built in. The M40 incorporates the MyoProcessorT, an advanced systems approach to neuromuscular measurement.

M44 Dual EMG

This instrument includes the features and accuracy of the M40 in a true dual channel version. Channels are independently measured and displayed for maximum information and clarity of feedback. Muscles almost always work in pairs. The M44 can monitor agonist/antagonist and bilateral muscle sites. The M44 is the only biofeedback instrument that allows you to see what both muscle sites are doing at all times.

T30 TEMP

This instrument features the highest digital resolution (0.01 F at all times) and highest feedback sensitivity of any biofeedback TEMP (F change full scale). The T30 is the only biofeedback TEMP to provide a choice of manual or automatic operation; manual for precisely controllable shaping or automatic for the convenience of "hands off" use. You can also use the T30 with the CT3 to add conductance feedback or with the optional RESP sensor to add respiration feedback.

T33 Dual TEMP

This instrument has the features and accuracy of the T30 in a true dual channel version. Channels are independently measured and displayed for maximum information and clarity of feedback. The 33's ability to simultaneously measure bilateral sites means that patients can be tested for asymmetric peripheral temperature prior to biofeedback training. During training, true dual channel allows one sensor site to be used as a "control." Alternatively, in order to ensure that responses to training are not overly specific, two sensor sites can be monitored on an ongoing basis or the readings from both sites can be averaged.

CT3 EDA Converter

This instrument features simultaneous monitoring of tonic and phasic responses, high resistance to artifact, and Constant Current ConductanceT. Davicon's proprietary technique for measuring skin conductance. The CT3 plugs into a temperature sensor input, replacing that channel with conductance and can be used with either the T30 or one channel of the T33.

Dual Channel and Clinical Interface Pacs

Combined hardware and software packages are available for interfacing one (Dual Channel 1/Pac) or more (Clinical 1/Pac) Clinical Series instruments to a PC style computer system. This is the same quality software interface provided with the Davicon System/3 products. The Clinical Series units may be disconnected from the computer and used as independent stand-alone instruments at any time.
